Definition

The United States Virgin Islands is a group of islands in the Caribbean that are United States territory

The US Virgin Islands are geographically part of the Virgin Islands archipelago and are located in the Leeward Islands of the Lesser Antilles.

The US Virgin Islands are neither a part of one of the fifty U.S.

states nor the District of Columbia, the federal district of the United States.

US Virgin Islands Citizens (Native Borns inhabitants of The US Virgin Islands) U.S.

citizens, but Virgin Islands residents cannot vote in presidential elections.

Virgin Islands residents, however, are able to vote in presidential primary elections.
